Delete your VYTAL account and data

This page explains how to request deletion of your VYTAL account and personal data. VYTAL is operated by Vytal Med Health & Wellness Corp. (the developer listed on the Google Play store page).
You can request deletion whether or not you can still sign in.
How to request deletion — in the app or website
1. Sign in to your account at vytal-med.com or in the VYTAL app.
2. Open Dashboard → Account.
3. Scroll to “Delete account” and confirm.
Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after a 30-day grace period (see below).
How to request deletion — by email
If you can't sign in, email dpo@vytal-med.com from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify your identity and complete the request within 30 days.
You can also email us to delete specific data without closing your account.
What gets deleted
Within 30 days of your request we permanently erase: your profile and identifiers (name, email, phone, date of birth), your AI assistant conversations, your progress entries (weight, photos, check-ins), and any clinical message threads.
Your email is replaced with an anonymised placeholder so the record can no longer be linked to you.
What we must keep, and for how long
Some records are kept after deletion because the law requires it: prescriptions, appointments, subscription and payment records, and security audit logs.
These are retained for the legally mandated period (typically up to 10 years for clinical and tax records) and are not used for any other purpose. They are deleted automatically once that period ends.
